Students at Gerner learn academics through play and a variety of different learning modes. Missouri Early Learning Standards provides the foundation for learning in each of the classrooms. The Desires Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) is utilized to better understand developmental progress made throughout the year.

Students learn Super Cub Expectations in order to participate appropriately as a learner in all educational setting.

Gerner Family Early Education Center is accredited through National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and strives for accreditation each year.
